Allion Legal’s continuing growth in the agribusiness sector has prompted it to become the inaugural sponsor of the Agribusiness Association of Australia (AAA) in Western Australia.
The new sponsorship agreement was announced at the AAA’s recent breakfast event in Perth which was attended by over 70 agribusiness professionals.
With a dual sponsorship with AAA New South Wales it doubles the networking opportunities which company Principal’s in both States are excited to continue to develop.
Mr Michael Swift, Allion’s Perth based Principal said that this year their involvement in advising major companies operating in the agribusiness sector in Australia and Asia has grown exponentially.
“The AAA are quite new to the WA market and we can see a huge benefit of being aligned with such a professional association.
“The transactions we have been involved in across Australia, have been wide ranging and have included inbound and outbound investment opportunities, acting for clients: on rights issues; broadacre farming acquisitions; developing export grain terminals; acquiring abattoirs; and advising international companies wishing to develop a greenfield sugar industry.
“We hope our support of the AAA enables it to further promote the significant contribution agribusiness is making to the Australian economy and community,” said Mr Swift.
Mr Jon Cane, NSW Principal and current AAA member said that the sponsorship provides the opportunity to develop better business relationship with the AAA.
“The networking opportunities and access to AAA members across Australia drove us to secure our sponsorship,” said Mr Jon Cane.
“Agribusiness is a key focus sector for Allion and as we further develop our presence in both states so too is the AAA which is why we felt now was the right time to commit to this important area,” said Mr Cane.
AAA Executive Jan Davis said she is delighted Allion Legal has come on board as the inaugural sponsor for WA and another excellent state sponsor for NSW.
